Meet your Marketing Account Manager – Clair Hatch

Here at QMS we have a core team of people that deliver our direct marketing services and we would like you to get to know them.

First in the spotlight in this series is Clair Hatch, Account Manager at Quantum Marketing Services.

1. What do you do at QMS?

I am an Account Manager – It’s my job to provide assistance to clients from the initial quotation through to the completion of their projects.

I get called upon to help with all aspects but some examples include the processing of orders from their various e-commerce platforms & data management for direct mailing campaigns.

2. What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I have a passion for being creative, in various different forms, but I can mainly be found in my kitchen! 

I have started to become more serious about baking & decorating cakes in my spare time, mainly for friends (& the office, of course). 

I’m also an avid fan of F1, so tend to be up in the early hours to catch the live races.

3. How long have you been with QMS and what were you doing before you joined us?

I joined QMS in 2015 following a long stint in insurance underwriting. I needed a lot more variation in my day to day work, something to really challenge me. 

I had previously had a temporary job at the warehouse over the summer when I was a student (too many years ago) and kept the company in mind until the opportunity arose to apply for a position at QMS.

4. What do you enjoy the most about your job?

No two days are the same and I relish the challenge of new projects to get involved with.  

Above all else I enjoy working as part of a wonderful team. We support each other at every stage of the campaigns & do what we can to help each other achieve our individual & common goals.

5. What do you think QMS does better than other companies?

We have many years of experience between us and it is clear that this helps us provide our clients with the best possible advice. We can help them to streamline existing processes or suggest solutions for their fulfilment needs that they might not have thought of otherwise.

I also think that we have brilliant response time. There have been occasions where the brief will change during a project and we have proven to be reactive and implemented the revised requirements in a short space of time, in order to maintain the original deadlines.
